With O'C Under Its Belt, SBC Sets Some Tech Goals

In the wake of the final absorption of O'Connor Associates' technology and technologists into its parent Swiss Bank Corp., the bank has set itself three key trading technology goals: 1) to develop and deploy global risk control systems, 2) to improve the efficiency of its cross- border and cross-product trading operations and 3) to make the benefits of its technology increasingly available to its corporate customers.

According to Patrick Kerpan, executive director in information technology at SBC
