Aurora Software Debuts MBS Trading System

NEW YORK--Aurora Software, a fixed-income trading software shop, has added mortgage-backed securities functions to its Winfits trading platform.
Winfits is the first off-the-shelf platform for trading mortgage-backed securities, a section of the fixed income business that has languished in the paper-based world and is sorely in need of automation, says CEO Neil Aurora. Competition comes from Bloomberg’s proprietary MBS platform and in-house systems.
