IBM Saves Space With Introduction of Remote Workstation

TRADING ROOM TECHNOLOGIES

NEW YORK--IBM has unveiled a remote trader workstation and a new high-resolution flat-panel monitor, both designed to clear up the clutter common to trading rooms worldwide. Delivery of the workstation solution begins this month and has already been adopted by Stockholm-based Enskilda and German trading firm Salkae. Distribution of the monitors will begin in May.

The remote workstation removes the hardware and cabling from underneath the trader's desk and houses them in a separate room. Included
