In 18 Booths At Asia Forex In Jakarta, Little That Hasn't Been Viewed Before

At the Asia Pacific Forex Assembly in Jakarta last week, there were few new products that had not been demonstrated at other conferences. Perhaps the most notable development at the conference was the emphasis placed by leading information vendors Reuters and Dow Jones Telerate on large-scale applications designed to manage risk, limits, and deal and orders. And most curious was the absence of Minex Corp., which declined to use space in Telerate's booth to promote its FX order-matching system.
