Island ECN Seeks Cincinnati Membership, Sidetracking Nasdaq

NEW YORK--The Island ECN has applied to become a member of the Cincinnati Stock Exchange in an effort to avoid the fees charged to non-market makers on Nasdaq, says executive vice president Andrew Goldman.
