PRU Heads To Danbury And Chicago In Quest For 600-Position System
MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY
Prudential Securities Inc. is taking its act on the road. The firm will send its systems staff for week-long visits to Micrognosis Inc.'s headquarters in Danbury, Conn. and to Reuters' development center in Chicago. The tours are part of Pru's process of elimination of would-be data distribution platform suppliers for its more than 600- position trading room in New York.
The firm plans to have selected a vendor by the end of this year, with an eye towards deploying the system in the second half
