Instinet Silent As SEC Deadline Passes But Competitors Submit Their Comments

Now that the deadline has passed for responding to the Securities and Exchange Commission's questionnaire on alternative markets, the agency's staff has comments from at least 15 market participants and observers, including Bloomberg, Optimark, Charles Schwab and the Tokyo Stock Exchange. But curiously, nothing was submitted by the largest of the alternative markets, Instinet, or its parent company, Reuters.
