Kidder Readies RFP, As 14 In Derivatives Take Reuters

Kidder Peabody & Co. is preparing to release a request for proposal to outfit a 600-position trading room in New York City. In the meantime, Kidder has signed to install Effix Systemes S.A.'s Advanced Trader Workstation (ATW) software running on the firm's existing Reuters Triarch backbone for a small group of derivatives traders.
