First Union Bank Will Use Market Vision To Support 150

MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY

As expected, First Union National Bank of North Carolina (FUNB) has chosen Market Vision Corp.'s MV Link digital data distribution system to support 150 fixed-income and derivatives traders in its capital markets division. Market Vision was selected from a field of three vendors -- the other two being Reuters and would-be Reuters subsidiary Teknekron Software Systems Inc. (TST, Feb. 21).

Bank officials decline to comment or didn't return phone calls. Sources both within and outside the bank say
