Equant/Reuters Newco Plans Massive Cisco Router Deployment

MONTEREY, CALIF.--The new networking company that Reuters/Equant are creating plans to install almost 15,000 Cisco Systems routers in its network to support the rollout of managed services, including a full Tibco Software TIB/Rendezvous (TIB/RV) applications.

Newco, the temporary name for the new company, will replace existing Bay Network routers on customer sites with Cisco models 1700 and 2600 to support these services. In the core of the network there will be Cisco model 7000s and 12000s
