DJM's Global Transactions Division May Be Spared The Chopping Block

PRODUCTS & VENDORS

LONDON--If the London-based Global Transactions unit of Dow Jones Markets, headed by Peter Taylor, is spared the chopping block, it will be because of the outstanding contracts the year-old division has secured with its five-pronged transaction service, say sources close to DJM in Asia and London.

The group has landed a number of contracts with clients including several governments of emerging markets and major players such as the Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS), say industry sources.
