Kevin Houstoun Moves To Salomon, Cites FIX Connectivity

Kevin Houstoun has moved over to Salomon Smith Barney as EVP of Equity Electronic Trading and External Connectivity for SS&B's London office. He leaves Robert Fleming after three years as a front office research systems architect. He will report to Kevin Bourne, head of the firm's European electronic trading desk.

He and Andrew Wilson left Fleming when their department was made redundant. Houstoun developed Flemings proprietary FIX engine. Houstoun is a key participant in the FIX Technical
