Bank of Ireland Automates FX Pricing

Bank of Ireland is installing an automated pricing engine from Mountain View, Calif.-based Integral to automate its internal foreign exchange pricing and margining.

The bank’s aim is to "automate where possible to generate automated price feeds," says Lorcan Connolly, IT director of the bank’s treasury and international banking division. He says the bank currently uses the telephone and paper documents to generate price information.

The system, Autodealer, will provide a central pricing mechanism
