Swapswire Gets Wired

Swapswire is about to make a big splash in the interbank swaps market.

And though Swapswire says it has no intention of changing the market, it seems clear that it will. After all, the system is backed by 24 of the largest dealers. by samara zwanger

It takes quite a premise to convince firms like Chase, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Warburg Dillon Read to team up, never mind sponsor anything. Obviously Swapswire, which won support from 18 other firms, too (see The List)
