Coming to America: Deutsche Börse targets US market using SimCorp One

Fresh from integrating SimCorp and rearranging its business lines, the German exchange has set American expansion as its goal for SimCorp’s buy-side offering.

When German cartographer Martin Waldseemüller and his frequent collaborator, Matthias Ringmann, created the first map of the world that contained the word “America” in 1502—the name a reference to Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci—it became one of the longest-lasting European influences in the development of North American colonization. Now, over 500 years later, German exchange group Deutsche Börse is hoping to follow in the footsteps of its predecessors by once more influencing the North
