The TMX Group CCPs, CDCC, CDS and NGX, are now recognized as qualifying central counterparties (QCCPs).

"TMX Group welcomes this designation," says Thomas Kloet, CEO of the TMX Group. "Our CCPs continue to provide valuable services to participants across our marketplaces and this designation recognizes our efforts to meet the highest international standards for these important entities".

In order to be designated as a QCCP, the organization must be licensed to operate as a CCP, and be regulated according to the CPSS-IOSCO Principles for Market Infrastructures and the International Organization of Securities Commissions.
