Azul Systems Partners with Solarflare to Reduce Latency on Java Applications

The Azul-Solarflare solution is designed to provide financial services firms with an integrated runtime platform for application execution consistency, while lowering average latency.
"Azul's and Solarflare's best-of-breed products have been tested to ensure they work together seamlessly," says Bruce Tolley, vice president of solutions marketing at Solarflare. "We've taken all the necessary steps to deliver exactly what our customers require to do business in today's fast-paced business environment. And although our focus at this time is on capital markets, customers from a wide variety of industries can profit from our collaboration with Azul."
According to both firms, Solarflare's OpenOnload high-performance network and the Azul Zing Java Virtual Machine, when coupled, decrease average latencies and eliminate max outliers.
