Bloomberg Broadens Data Focus with Industries

Bloomberg's product aggregates vast amounts of data into vertical silos for consumption.

Bloomberg has flexed its information muscles with the global roll-out of Bloomberg Industries, a multi-sector information and analysis platform covering bespoke and third-party content. Located inside the Bloomberg terminal, the company aims to power its non-partisan analysis with the aggregation, visualization and conglomeration of disparate information sources into a single-platform area.

"The aim has been to add value to the terminal for our clients," says Sam Fazeli, director of EMEA

CME: CFTC OKs clearing move to Google Cloud

The CFTC has given the Chicago-based exchange approval to run its clearing and settlement infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform, while the exchange and vendor have extended their partnership to last until at least 2037.
