BWise Buy Bolsters Nasdaq OMX's Surveillance, Compliance Monitoring, Risk Management Solution
Nasdaq OMX has agreed to acquire BWise, a provider of enterprise governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) software, and will offer BWise's GRC platform through its technology business, Nasdaq OMX Corporate Solutions.
When paired with Smarts, Nasdaq OMX's surveillance and compliance monitoring platform for brokers, exchanges and regulators, the BWise move should provide broker-dealers with a holistic platform for market surveillance, compliance monitoring and risk management.
