Wave Set To Implements SimCorp Dimension

Hamburg-based Wave Management will use SimCorp Dimension for portfolio management, compliance, risk management and performance measurement.

Wave Management AG, the asset management operation of the German VHV insurance group with over €14billion under management, has chosen SimCorp Dimension as its future investment management system.

The Hannover-based buy-side firm will be use SimCorp Dimension, SimCorp's flagship investment management platform, to support its portfolio management, compliance, risk management and performance measurement activities. In addition, the data needed to comply with the Solvency II Directive will be delivered by the system.

SimCorp Dimension will be used for WAVE Management AG's entire book of records and will enable look-through into the underlying securities within its externally managed funds so that the firm can assess its total exposure.

Wave Management, founded in Hamburg in 2000, advises institutional clients on all aspects of asset management, from asset allocation to investment and risk reporting. Wave is also responsible for managing mutual and institutional funds. Support for the reinvestment of matured life insurances and other liquid assets is at the heart of its retail business. Wave also currently manages private investor funds, such as Wave Total Return Fund.
