Bursa Malaysia Preps For Globex Switchover

The project is expected to be completed later this year, according to Dato Yusli Mohamed Yusoff, CEO of Bursa Malaysia.

Under terms of the deal announced by CME Group and Bursa Malaysia officials in August 2009, the exchanges would collaborate on trading matching services and product licensing, with CME Group taking a 25 percent stake in Bursa Malaysia's derivatives subsidiary (DWT, Aug. 17, 2009).

Bursa Malaysia is using matching engines from NYSE Euronext to run its equities and derivatives
