Prebon Brokers in Singapore to Get GBS
STP AND OPERATIONS
SINGAPORE--Prebon Yamane’s brokers in Singapore are slated to get a thin-client platform for straight through processing (STP), the Global Brokering System (GBS) by the end of this month, say sources familiar with the situation.
The GBS platform is not new for the interdealer broker. Last year, the firm rolled out GBS for its brokers in Jersey City, N.J. and London. The firm is soon to complete its beta test project in Singapore, say industry sources.
Prebon internally developed GBS to allow
