Cisco Lays Out Multicasting Capability Plans

NEW YORK--Cisco Systems says it is coming out with a product called Multicast Lite to support streaming media transmissions from one source to many recipients in a multicast network. Cisco says it is making technology available to enterprises that has been used by Internet Service Providers because some large enterprises now have the same demands for multicasting as ISPs.
