Danske: Reuters to Oversee RMDS

COPENHAGEN—Under a complex arrangement announced last week, Danske Bank will, in large part, exempt its Reuters Market Data System (RMDS) infrastructure, supported by Sun Microsystems servers, from coverage by outsourcer DM-Data.
Instead, Reuters will maintain the nascent RMDS installation.
At a later date, the firm may consider outsourcing its RMDS infrastructure—which supports approximately 500 traders—to IBM, bank officials say.
The potential switch to IBM comes as a result of Danske officials
