Euronext Splits Into Four Units

EXCHANGE TECHNOLOGIES

PARIS--Pan-European exchange Euronext will break into four separate business units based around its main profit and loss streams next year, say exchange officials. Although subject to consultation with regulators and the exchange’s work force, the exchange aims to complete its overhaul by the end of this year and implement the new structure immediately on Jan. 1 next year.

The four new units will divide the exchange’s operations into areas for cash markets, derivatives markets, clearing services
