Visibroker Connects Pit Traders To Amsterdam Exchange Via Wireless

WIRELESS TRADING APPLICATIONS

AMSTERDAM--Visibroker object request broker (ORB) middleware from Inprise/Borland enables pit traders from AOT to trade on the Amsterdam Option Exchange (AEX) using hand held devices.

Derivatives market maker AOT, based in Amsterdam, selected Visibroker as the backbone to its electronic trading infrastructure. It is also using Linux on the back-end server to communicate with the exchange’s application programming interface (API) and Citrix Metaframe thin-client software.
