JPMorgan: Brass OMS Out, Hosted Lava In

NEW YORK—JPMorgan Securities is replacing its implementation of the SunGard Brass order management system (OMS) with a hosted version of the ColorPalette OMS from New York-based Lava Trading, which is slated to be acquired by Citigroup.
JPMorgan officials decline to comment on the possible effects of the acquisition.
JPMorgan has been using Brass to support over the counter (OTC) trading, but the Brass support contract will end in December, officials say. JPMorgan officials announced last week
