Nymex Goes Wireless

NEW YORK--Chicago-based futures commission merchant (FCM) R.J. O’Brien (RJO) on June 9 began using Micro Design Services’ (MDS) electronic order routing and wireless handheld system at the New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex), the first customer to do so at Nymex, confirm officials who spoke last week.
The rollout lets RJO route orders from its broker workstations to both Nymex and the New York Board of Trade (Nybot), where MDS has already installed its Electronic Order Routing (EOR) network and
