CSFB Picks Talarian For New Equities Messaging

LONDON--In a setback for Tibco, Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) has embraced the Smartsockets publish/subscribe middleware from upstart Talarian to provide new front-end support for more than 500 applications used by 4,000 equities traders worldwide. Smartsockets will be deployed throughout CSFB's offices, which span 30 countries and six continents.
