Helsinki Exchange Turns to Smarts
EXCHANGE TECHNOLOGIES
HELSINKI—The Helsinki Stock Exchange, owned and operated by OMX, is signing up for the Smarts market surveillance technologies from rival exchange technology provider Computershare.
The installation is expected to go live during the first quarter of next year.
The deal makes Helsinki the fifth member of the Norex alliance—an agreement among Nordic exchanges—to cooperate on market surveillance activities. Existing Norex members already use Smarts and they also run the OMX Saxess platform, making
