UNX Pioneers Web Services for Trading

BURBANK, Calif.--UNX, an agency broker and trading software vendor, has written a core business application program interface (API) in Microsoft's .NET and rolled out Web-services US equity trading to 50 of its clients.
The Universal Brokerage Platform (UBP) Web Services API was released last month and can be accessed using Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and Web Services Description Language (WSDL) from all platforms that speak in XML version 1.0, says CEO Randy Abernethy.
