A market data distribution system selection committee at Bear Stearns & Co. is evaluating three vendors to support the firm's community of 700 traders and salespeople. The vendors are FD Consulting Inc., Reuters and Teknekron Software Systems Inc.
The Bear Stearns committee -- which comprises technical staff, as well as a range of potential users of the system -- decided earlier this year that it was a competitive necessity for the firm to identify a strategic digital data distribution system
