BOSTON--When Brian Robertson, chief executive officer of Visible Markets, launched his online marketplace for fixed-income securities less than three months ago, he was confident it would succeed--he just may not have realized how quickly it would catch on.
Launched in late June, Visible Markets signed up its milestone hundredth customer earlier this month. In its first month of operation, the system recorded $200 million in fixed income transactions and $2.5 billion in inquiries. According to
