800 Firms Likely to Miss Swift 15022 Deadline

LA HULPE, BELGIUM--As TTW went to press, Swift, the industry-owned financial messaging network provider, reported that approximately 800 firms worldwide had yet to migrate to the new ISO 15022 messaging format, which is slated to go into production on Saturday, Nov. 16, affecting 3,200 firms.

The firms likely to miss the deadline represent approximately a quarter of the firms that send Swift messages. If these firms have not migrated by the deadline, they will have no choice but to either enter
