DEC Acquires U.K.'s Data Logic In Bid For UNIX Expertise

Digital Equipment Corp. announced the acquisition of the financial services division of Data Logic Ltd. from Raytheon Corp. The purchase, for an undisclosed sum, will provide DEC with expertise with which to pursue its goal of developing a UNIX version of DECtrade, its VAX/VMS-based trading room system architecture.
