Goldman, Lehman Mull Tokyo Moves

TRADING FLOOR TECHNOLOGIES

TOKYO--A new, 54-story building in central Tokyo will house trading floors for Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers. Both banks are expected to move their Tokyo operations to the state-of-the-art Roppongi Hills Mori Tower building in the Japanese capital. Timeframes for the move weren't disclosed.

A spokesperson for Goldman Sachs confirms that the bank is preparing to transfer its 1,300 Tokyo staff into space in the building. However, he declines to provide further information on the move or the new
