How fast is the fast track on which Global Crossing finds itself?

Pretty fast, if its demand for office space is any indication. According to the New York Times, Global Crossing, which runs a world-wide fiber optic network, signed a lease in March for 205,000 square feet in an old brick factory on the West side of Manhattan.
