BNP Paribas Reorganizes IT Structure Leaving Paribas With The Upper Hand

LONDON--The BNP Paribas merger has produced a new IT management structure, and sources say that it leaves Paribas very much in charge of group strategy as well as the company's lucrative investment banking division's technology.

Herve Gouezel from BNP now heads the department, called the Information Systems Group (ISG), which is responsible for infrastructure and architecture. Gouezel has two deputies: Alain Deschenes from Paribas, who has responsibility for liaison with corporate and investment
