NextSet Takes On FX Market via PTX

PALO ALTO, Calif.--NextSet Software is readying a foreign exchange (FX) module for its Private Trading Exchange (PTX) system, slated to be available May 12. PTX will allow banks to offer bilateral, Web-based trading to institutional and corporate clients, says Stephen Brown, director of product management.
The FX module, offering both request-for-quote and firm indicative prices, covering spot, forward, time options, and swaps, completes release 1.0 of PTX, which already supports cash, money
