Board Of Trade Picks Sun Platform, Sets Shortlist For Data Distribution

The Chicago Board of Trade has set a seven-vendor shortlist in its effort to provide a data distribution system in support of more than 1,000 traders on the exchange floor and hundreds of other users in the exchange building. At the same time, the CBOT has selected Sun Microsystems Inc. SPARCstations for its trader workstation platform.
