Goldman Tech Exec Partnered; Bond Room Race Heats Up
MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY
Leslie Tortora, the Goldman Sachs & Co. technology executive who has been shepherding vendor evaluations for the firm's 450- position fixed-income trading floor, was named partner last week.
The promotion, effective Nov. 28 and subject to the approval of the New York Stock Exchange, was one of 35 announced by the firm on Wednesday. As a partner in Goldman's operations, technology and finance division, Tortora's areas of oversight will be information technology, Goldman's J. Aron & Co. commodity
