NexTrade In Strategic Partnership With BEA Systems

NEW YORK--NexTrade ECN announced that it made a formal filing with the SEC to become a stock exchange, and in anticipation that it would eventually operate as an exchange, has entered into a strategic alliance with BEA Systems. BEA is building NexTrade's execution system on BEA WebLogic Enterprise, which NexTrade expects to roll out next month. With the new system in place, NexTrade's capacity is expected to jump from a few hundred to 16,000 messages per second, which would be more in keeping
