DrKW to Tear Down Barriers

LONDON—Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW), the investment bank of Dresdner Bank, is hoping that technology will help it tear down the traditional barriers among asset classes.

Through the establishment of a Digital Markets (DM) unit, the bank hopes to not only "break down barriers between asset classes, but also between the front-, middle-, and back-office and IT services," says Sean Park, head of debt syndicate and credit trading at DrKW, who also heads up the DM division.
