Nymex Europe to Use OMX for London Floor
EXCHANGE TECHNOLOGIES
LONDON—The New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) will be using Nordic exchange operator and technology provider OMX to support its forthcoming exchange floor in London, say officials who announced the deal last week.
The recently signed, five-year IT infrastructure services agreement follows Nymex Europe's earlier decision to lease space in OMX's London office (DWT, Feb 21). Nymex Europe will begin offering open-outcry trading of Brent crude oil and Northwest Europe gas-oil futures as soon as it
