GSTPA Hints at Sungard Link
OPERATIONS AND STP
LONDON--Senior sources at GSTPA, the Global Straight Through Processing Association formed by the securities industry to create a T+1 central matching facility, have hinted that they are considering joining forces with financial services technology giant Sungard in a deal that that would see Sungard delivering Virtual Matching Utility (VMU) services to the GSTPA's Zurich-based-operating company, GSTP.
