Ixnet Acquires New York Software, Systems Integration Firm SPNC

NEW YORK--Ixnet has acquired Systems Programming & Network Computing (SPNC), a systems integrator and developer of web-based and other software for the financial services industry, for an undisclosed amount.

Ixnet made the acquisition to bring onboard SPNC’s engineering talent and in the process acquired products that it is still evaluating for use within its own network and service offerings. Ixnet would not disclose any information about SPNC’s financial results or the number of employees. SPNC

CME: CFTC OKs clearing move to Google Cloud

The CFTC has given the Chicago-based exchange approval to run its clearing and settlement infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform, while the exchange and vendor have extended their partnership to last until at least 2037.
