EDS Disbands Financial Markets Unit; Mike Reddy Takes Leave Of Absence

NEW YORK--The "Project Breakaway" worldwide reorganization of Electronic Data Systems (EDS) has hit the Global Financial Markets Group (GFMG) in New York, and caused the division to be disbanded as well as several high-level departures and promotions.
In place of the GFMG, EDS has a new horizontal approach that consists of four new divisions--Information Solutions, Electronic Solutions, Business Process Management and AT Kearney, say EDS officials. The services and resources of GFMG will be split
