Swapstream Readies Online Swaps Trading

LONDON--The gap left by derivatives processing system Swapswire’s decision not to provide online trading is to be filled later this year with the launch of an electronic swaps trading platform from UK provider Swapstream.
The vendor, which will operate as an "arranger" rather than a broker or regulated investment exchange, will conduct beta testing of its system during May, with a live launch planned for June. The platform will initially trade medium-term, euro- and Swiss franc-denominated swaps
