CBOE Attempts to Match Depth to Speed with ‘LOU’

CHICAGO--The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) will roll out its Large Order Utility (LOU) to all of its securities by the middle of this week, says Anthony Montesano, vice president of trading operations at the CBOE.

LOU, which is a "hybrid" voice-electronic, options-order delivery and confirmation system, debuted last week on about one-third of the CBOE’s 1,500 names.
