Ten Goldman Quant Traders Use Reuters Triarch 2000

Goldman Sachs & Co. has gone live with Reuters' Triarch 2000 digital data distribution system in support of some ten trader positions in its quantitative strategies group.
The ten traders who now use Triarch 2000 previously received data from a more than five-year-old FD Consulting Inc. TiPS ticker plant running on a Stratus Computers Inc. fault-tolerant processor.
Sources close to the Goldman project say that the decision to implement the Reuters system -- and to reduce reliance on the Stratus
